Email Down

I never really realised how much time I spend on email per day. Today our company exchange server decided it had enough and shat itself. Wow it's been a looong day, and it looks like it’s going to be a long one again tomorrow. I've actually had to do more than my usual amount of work arrhhhhhggg. Tomorrow is shaping up to be a great day to have a sickie (I wish).

Jesus diet

You can give people stats on heart disease. You can have doctors begging for people to be active and eat healthy. Thing is we all know it don't work, or at least not for long. Now we have the Jesus Diet. It's time to use religion to get people healthy. So how do I become a qualified Jesus Dietician? Go to the culinary seminary school of Jesus the eater. Here you will be shown the miracles of fat reduction and the holy act of breaking bread hehe.

History of the West

A good friend has finally completed his masterpiece on Melbourne’s western suburbs. Titled “The evolution of an outer suburb. A study of the shire of Braybrook 1888-1951. I have waited well over a year for the completion of this work and am honoured to have been mentioned in his acknowledgments for my meagre assistance. Having grown up in the western side of Melbourne I have mythologised it’s landscape and meaning over the years. Though I may not live there any longer it will always be the starting location for many a dream.

Freedom

Can it be possible to be afraid of freedom? The ability to choose at times is more difficult than anything. Yet it is our birthright to be able to. In the end though, your choices no matter what philosophical leaning be it positivist, consiquentualist, rationalist and more will ultimately be your own.

Why is it that people try and set you up with people they are attracted to? It’s so funny. A married friend of mine tried to set me up with someone whom I was not interested in, and he knew it. So I thought I would do a little investigation and try find out why? At first I thought maybe she was interested in me. But that wasn’t it. Then it dawned on me. He was interested in her. I couldn’t believe it. All signs pointed to it. This was the only way he could get her out of his head without making it so damn obvious to himself or his wife. Sad.
