Koh-Kae

It was 1994 I was introduced to the delicious Thai peanut snack koh-kae by a friend named Kamolwan. At first I blessed her for it, I was hooked, going through a large pack of the stuff every few days. Soon my belly was starting to look like a koh-kae and I overdosed on the stuff. I couldn't look at the things for a few years. It was so painful. Loving them to hating in a matter of weeks. Anyhow today while in an Asian grocery looking for MSG free Dashi powder I came across my old love koh-kae. "This is it" I though, it's time to give them another go. I am eating them as I write this and already I can foresee the future of our relationship going to ruins in a few packs.

Why no answer

For the past 9 years my promise not to discus politics with friends has held rather well. Sometimes it slips out in one of my philosophical ramblings (which I a have stopped also) or if I just get pissed off enough I may speak up. Normally though when my friends talk about politics I switch off. I may throw in a few silly comments here and there but otherwise it's goodnight amigos. So here’s to another 9 years.

Brainwash weekly issue 2

My brainwashed friend at work has decided to pay $10,000 dollars to do the next "Robbins" brainwash course. His come back now filled with so much bullshit it's utterly hilarious. Now comes the waiting game for me before I start asking him where all the millions of dollars are, or why his still working here after learning all this invaluable information. Heck for ten grand I’m expecting the answers to some pretty big questions here!! Hats off to this Robbins creature "you got the suckers paying up big bucks for your crap".

Beck

The Beck concert at the Palais yesterday was simply a quality show. Being ignorant of most of his music till recently, which was totally crazy of me, but has now been rectified.

Yesterday was the quietus for my opinion on him. I was blown away. Now begins the huge and expensive duty of buying his albums.

Up and Down Quarks

Got into a conversation with some friends about the sub atomic structure and the grand unified theory. This is a Quark site that goes into quarks nice and easy.
