Apoptosis is very interesting. Especially when thought about philosophically.

B-slaves

I wrote a blog some time ago (which I never posted as usual) called “b-slaves”. Simply meaning bio slaves. It was a story about how simpler or lower life forms actually control us. We are inadvertently creating diversity for them to evolve into, quicker than they can themselves. We change environments for them eg land contamination, ozone destruction. For them this is just another new possibility, a new niche. They evolve to use these changes faster than any other life form. Our role is to change the world for them. We can’t escape it. They will even go into space if we do and evolve to use it. Even our own body functions because of them. They have constructed us as machines of change and no more. We are slaves at a most fundamental of levels, the biological. There evolutionary intelligence is global. It’s beyond our understanding. We can’t strip away context to see how it functions and inturn control them. We can look at it as a foundation for our own existence to live on. Wherever we go, we lay out this foundation like a red carpet.

The Wretch

In a dirty little green room. Music like alcohol a catalyst to be lost in a Jungian world of introversion. - Ephemeral sight, middle age charging un-hindered. Oh despotic rhythms take me again!

Madman’s Thoughts

His thoughts are like bubbles blown by a child. Catch one to have it burst in your hands. We can only look closely as it floats on its languid path, beauty fragile and fleeting.

Fragment 2

Work does not give life. Work only takes life away.
The more I think about this one the more I believe it.
I've seen people try sacrifice what can never be sacrificed all for the temporal fame that work can give.
The problem occurs, when you find out that you can’t trade emotions for money. You can only delay them. The time will come when they need to be addressed. Will they be natural and beautiful still or just some abnormal beast demanding to be fulfilled?

Fragments

The Homeless
Homeless are symbols of the problems with society.

Tobias Wolff - Old School

The book Old school has swept me off my feet and deliverd me to a school like none other. A school where students read and write with such fervor I can't help but smile. A school where litereray discussion is as common as skipping classes was in mine.
